If you or someone you love experiences performance anxiety or premature ejaculation, it’s important to understand what premature ejaculation is and why it happens. Premature ejaculation is defined as ejaculating before you or your partner want you to, and it’s more common than you think!

A few factors can contribute to premature ejaculation, including anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and even physical issues. However, one of the most common causes is simply being too caught up in your head and disconnected from your body during sexual activity, a.k.a. performance anxiety.

When a man feels anxious or inadequate, his body can go into fight or flight mode, which can make it difficult to fully engage in the present moment experience. This can lead to a lack of body awareness and difficulty controlling arousal levels, leading to premature ejaculation. Over time, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy!

So, how can premature ejaculation be reversed and a man can regain control over his sexual experience?

The key is to learn how to connect with the body!

But how? Body-based exercises are incredibly effective for achieving this goal, as long as there is nothing physically wrong with the penis, and this can only be diagnosed by a medical doctor. These exercises focus on developing body awareness, breath control, sound, and movement, all of which can help you stay present and connected during sexual activity.

So what can you do to start lasting longer?

BREATH CONTROL
When you start to feel anxious or disconnected during sexual activity, try focusing on your breath. Take slow, deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth, and try to synchronize your breath with your movements. This can help you stay present in the moment and connect with your body, reducing the likelihood of premature ejaculation and allowing you to last longer

BODY AWARENESS
Before engaging in sexual activity, take some time to focus on your body and how it feels. Pay attention to your senses — what you see, hear, feel, and smell. This can help you stay present and connected during sexual activity, reducing the likelihood of premature ejaculation.

MAKE SOUNDS
Sound is a powerful tool for staying present and connected during sexual activity. You might try making vocalizations, such as moaning or breathing deeply, to stay present and focused on your body. If you usually don’t allow yourself to make sounds, that’s part of the problem!

MOVEMENT
try moving your hips or other body parts in sync with your partner’s movements or switching up the position to keep things fresh and engaging.

Remember that reversing years or even decades of premature ejaculation isn’t a quick fix — it takes time and effort to develop the body awareness and control needed to overcome this issue. However, with consistent practice and dedication, it’s absolutely possible to achieve results in as little as 30 days.
