Perception is deception. There is no world out there!

My Sunday evenings are now dedicated to my new group program for men, who are on their way to shamelessly becoming the master of their pleasure.

In the live group call, I made a bold statement:

There is no world out there!

Yup… that’s right!
Let me explain…
The world we see is a projection of our beliefs and cultural programming, and the meaning we give to things.

If you believe that the world is a sad, hostile place, and people will judge or reject you, then you will find evidence for this.
If you believe that people are kind and loving, accepting and genuine, then you will find evidence for this.

We all live in the same world, and yet, we experience vastly different realities, even if we grew up in the same house, or live in the same neighbourhood.

We humans have the power to shape our reality, based on where we focus our attention.

If you have the goggles of pain, darkness, and heaviness on, then you will see this because your mind will always try to prove itself right.

If you have the goggles of abundance, possibility, and hope on, then you will see this because your mind will always try to prove itself right.

Of course, there are terrible things happening in the world and we can all agree that war, violence, racism, etc are definitely not cool or acceptable and no one should experience that.

I invite you to pause and think about your microcosm, the reality of your immediate relationships (ie. your life with your partner, family, flatmates, co-workers, friends, etc.).

Is the life you experience with your goggles of perception the way you would like it to be? If so, great!

If the answer is no, notice where your focus is, because energy flows where attention goes.

Because perception is deception!

In marketing they say that perception is reality.
The truth is: there is no world out there. It’s all a projection from the mind!

✔️ If your attention goes on what is missing, lacking or going wrong in your life, your will end up getting more of that.

And

✔️ If your attention is on the possibilities, gratitude and wonders of life, then you will end up getting more of that.

Don’t take my word for it. Results don’t lie.

When I stopped focusing on what was going wrong in my life and relationships, and began focusing on what was going right, my life radically transformed.

In the last few years, I get to experience loving, authentic and trustworthy relationships. I feel seen and accepted by my beloved, my family and friends, and this feeling is priceless!

And I wish the same for you!

If you don’t have the ideal relationship with your family, partner, friends or at work… where is your focus going?

I’d love to hear from you. Which goggles of perception are you wearing?
